Nell works mostly in jewelry, but also paints.
Her jewelry is presented in two primary lines; narrative, and abstract. The narrative work is sterling silver embellished with etchings, acrylic paint, and shrink film. The abstract work is sterling silver embellished with pearlescent ink, acrylic paint, watercolor, enamel, and gold foil on enamel, sometimes with semi-precious stones and freshwater pearls.
Her paintings reflect the narrative and abstract nature of her work. Nell uses representational imagery to share her observations of life, and experiences of family, relationships, and nature.
